Coleridge Farm Cottage is located in the heart of Devon's South Hams, a designated area of outstanding natural beauty fringed by Dartmoor to the north and the coastline to the southeast and southwest. Situated on a productive farm that has been in the Darke Family for 150 years, Coleridge offers family farmhouse bed and breakfast holiday accommodation for up to 5 people. Ideally suited for families, walkers, ornithologists or those simply wishing to enjoy the many benefits the South Hams has to offer. Coleridge is on the outskirts of the village of Chillington, 4 miles from the market town of Kingsbridge and within easy reach of Dartmouth and Salcombe. Chillington's history dates back to Saxon times when it was known as the Royal Estate of Cadelintone. It is now served by a post office and general store, a modern medical centre and a proper village pub, 'The Open Arms'. Stokenham is a ten minute walk from Chillington with its 15th century parish church and two very good gastro-pubs. One mile beyond Stokenham is Slapton Ley (bird sanctuary and field centre) and Torcross beach (shingle) with direct access to the South West coast path stretching for over 600miles of coastal walking!
